diam tidak bermaksud tidak tahu.i just dont fancy bragging.
being an observant is more flattering than bragging i think.

once
yes i know you and you been very busy especially to those who have start working.all of us are trying to adapt with this adjustment and yes we are trying to understand your commitments. but can you and you at least spare some of your time for me? at least just once before im going back to melbourne since i'd only come back home every summer.
gosh i cant imagine 3-5 years ahead when all of us are going to be very busy chasing dreams(?) and commitments.can we still just spend the evenings with each other and just laugh all the way like today?
i cant imagine myself working. kerja studio during semester pon banyak tak terhingga, later in real life working pon it could be worst.lets just pray for the best iA.
only 28 days left! better spend it wisely! 4 fictions are not enough.
part of me cant wait to be back in melbong! i just feel so weird having all the time of my life now.

Becoming Jane?
yeah i know its been far too long i abandoned my blog ,si? been so busy before i didn't even have the time to write anything, but then later i lost my appetite to write anything about everything.
just watched Becoming Jane just now on Astro and suddenly a question from a friend of mine long time ago popped. Her question was, "kenapa qilah suka baca novel hah? qila suka berangan eh?" .
She already answer her question herself before i can even tell her the truth myself. But the moment i heard her answer i was so shocked and surprised how shallow the answer was. Hello, kerja aku bukan berangan je okay?. Though architects need to imagine a lot and imagination creates everything you have now.
Yes i admit when i have free time especially during long holidays i'll read anything that i think interesting.
Reading, watching and even liking Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre and Becoming Jane do not show u like to daydreaming or to have the perfect love or marriage someday, but indeed these stories really inspired me in a way as a woman. These stories show that women also can create something, can be something and can be someone important. I just knew that Jane Austen never get married. All she wanted to do was to write books.
During the summer holidays, i've been reading a couple of books that i think some of them could really inspire you in a way which are the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and Have a little Faith by Mitch Albom.
I still remember when i did a very short attachment in an architecture firm after SPM. The architect (which is my mum's friend too) asked me a question at the end of the day,
"Do you imagine things when you are reading a book? If yes, then its just as simple as that to be an architect".
but of course you have to put efforts and hardwork with that.

sorry for the lack of updates, been very busy. i'll try to post more, but for now onwards i'll only blog about architecture, uni works , photography and relevant matters, more like my own online portfolio. i'll just keep my personal matters to myself and closed ones because of certain reasons.
p/s: hope its not too late to wish everybody happy eid! :D

The desire for people to express their identity through a building is very powerful but understanding and describing who we are is never easy.
- Australian government culture portal
Since most of us spend our lives doing ordinary tasks, the most important thing is to carry them out extraordinarily well.

Life is not about maximising everything, it's about giving something back - like light, space, form, serenity, joy. You have to give something back.

schola means free time
just something that i want to share, got it from my history tutes..
My own experience is limited to universities. One of the saddest aspects of the lives of many students is that they always feel pressured. The irony is that those who have the luxury of spending time reading the great books of our culture and exploring the intricate beauty of creation find themselves always fighting deadlines. Students complain about the number of pages they have to read or write, and anxiously wonder how they will finish their many assignments on time. The word “school” which comes from “schola”(meaning: free time), reminds us that schools were originally meant to interrupt a busy existence and create some space to contemplate mysteries of life. Today they have become the area for a hectic race to accomplish as much as possible, and to acquire in a short period the necessary tools to survive the great battle of human life. Books written to be savored slowly are read hastily to fulfil a requirement, paintings made to be seen with a contemplative eye are taken in as part of a necessary art appreciation course, and music composed to be enjoyed at leisure is listened to in order to identify a period or style. Thus, colleges and universities meant to be places for quiet learning have become places of fierce competition , in which the rewards go to those who produce the most and the best."

“I had no conventional architectural education. I worked under a few good architects ; I read a few good books – and that’s about it”

Do you know where your heart is
Do you think you can find it
Did you trade it for something, somewhere
Better just to have it
Do you know where your love is
Do you think that you lost it
You felt it so strong but nothings
Turned out how you want it
Well bless my soul
You`re a lonely soul
Cause you wont let go
Of anything you hold
Well all I need is the air I breathe
And a place to rest my head
Do you know what your fate is
And are you trying to shake it
You're doing your best and
You're best look
You're praying that you'll make it
Well bless my soul
You're a lonely soul
Cause you wont let go
Of anything you hold
one republic
Do you think you can find it
Did you trade it for something, somewhere
Better just to have it
Do you know where your love is

"In order to move forward, we must say openly to each other the things we hold in our hearts. And it too often are said only behind closed doors. There must be a sustained effort to listen to each other, to learn from each other, to respect one another and to seek common ground."
Barrack Obama on relationship between America and Muslims.
i guess this apply in our everyday life too.

the fray was awesome last nite! another great group of musician besides coldplay hehe.great combination of music with meaningful lyrics! secondhand serenade (as opening act) was okay lah since im not a fan of them.
p/s: am i the only one in the house who is care enough to clean the toilet and bathroom , get rid of the rubbish? and sometimes even sweep the kitchen floor?
well, different upbringing creates different character i guess.
enough said.

when you are daydreaming and blur at the same time.
i went to rmit today to help my tutor pin up the layouts for the coming exhibtion this wednesday and i feel sooooooo guilty because of 2 incidents:
1: i crashed someone's model infront of his eyes.
happily i walk into studios on level 12 , thinking oh im so freeee after this no
more work and at the same time looking at people's work on the walls.then
suddenly i was stumbled and when i look back, i just realised that i actually i
stepped on someone's model. and at that time that person actually sitting infront
of the model.
and i was like "im sooooooooo sorry i didnt realise it was there bla bla". then he
said "its okay, just be more careful next time".i feel so bad after that.dah laa
pijak model orang, depan mata orang tu pulak tu , memang tak boleh lari la kan.
2: christine help me pinning up my drawings layout and we need someone to tell us if
its straight or not.then suddenly i saw a friend of mine( shes an arabian btw) and
call for her name quickly "fatima! fatima! fatima!".but she didn't respond.and i
was like tak cukup kuat ke suara aku ni.then suddenly she turn around and i
quickly ask for her help.after finish with the pinup i just realised her name is
not fatima! its aishah! i feeeeeeeeel so so bad after that.
pengajaran hari ini: look where u walk and never ever forget people's name.
